Support the belonging we’re building together.
Pinnup exists so people carrying heavy stories — immigrants, caregivers, neighbors, and staff — do not have to do it alone. Your gift keeps circles accessible, builds new identity tools, and funds community drives in the same neighborhoods we serve.
Where your gift goes
Your support directly funds the people and places where belonging and stability are under pressure:
- Circles for individuals, families, and staff teams who need steady spaces to process their stories.
- Training for local hosts, including immigrant and bilingual facilitators.
- Identity and belonging tools built from Narrative Systems Engineering and shared as a public good.
- Materials and journals that help participants name the glitch in their story and rebuild it.
- Community drives like the Spring Shoe Drive and seasonal essentials in the neighborhoods we serve.
Example impact of your gift
Every amount matters. Here are a few ways your giving can show up in the room:
Annual Spring Shoe Drive
Every Spring (March), Pinnup leads a Shoe Drive in partnership with Funds2Orgs, a global leader in micro-enterprise shoe recycling.
This drive supports:
- local families and children who need shoes,
- micro-entrepreneurs around the world who repurpose donated shoes, and
- environmentally sustainable recycling practices.
You can help all year: save gently used shoes at home, drop them at upcoming collection boxes (locations coming soon), or email us to ask about a pickup in your area.
To coordinate drop-off or pickup, email support@pinnup.org.
To sponsor the drive financially, use our secure giving options: Sponsor via Givebutter or Sponsor via Stripe.
Other ways to support Pinnup
Giving looks different for everyone. If a financial gift isn’t the right step right now, there are still meaningful ways to build this work with us:
-
Sponsor a circle.
Invite your workplace, congregation, or community group to underwrite a series of circles.
Email info@pinnup.org with the subject line “Sponsor a Circle.” -
Partner with us.
Libraries, clinics, schools, and nonprofits can host circles or drives for their communities.
Start a conversation at info@pinnup.org. - Share the invitation. Send circles.pinnup.org to a neighbor or caregiver who might need a structured hour of belonging.
